Offshore Challenge of America swimsuit - yellow/navy

Product information "Offshore Challenge of America swimsuit - yellow/navy"
The outer material consists of the proven nylon oxford, is coated and welded. For thermal insulation and as a built-in life jacket, a layer of closed-cell vinyl foam is incorporated, as is also commonly used in life jackets. Buoyancy keeps any adult afloat.
The suit is lined and offers additional protection on the cold-sensitive parts of the body. Namely on the pituitary glands: on the lower part of the back of the head, through the high, fleece-lined collar and on the pulse area through the neoprene cuffs. These can be individually adjusted using Velcro fasteners. In addition, the hands are warmed in the fleece-lined pockets.
In addition, there are adjustable braces that optimize the fit of the suit. The suit can be tightened with straps at the elbows and knees so that, should you fall overboard, there is no water circulation and no further heat is withdrawn from the body. The survival time in 4°C cold water then increases to approx. 4-5 hours. Enough time for the crew to evacuate the casualty.
Wide reflective strips on the arms, chest, legs and 3M reflective panels on the shoulders and hood increase the probability of being located in time.
The hood with peak can be rolled up into the collar and adjusted to any head size with a Velcro adjuster.
